Since May 2007 the Board has met 3 times to work on an annual plan, searched and appointed a SENSI manager and started the process of legally registering SENSI in
Bosnia and Herzegovina as an international member-based organisation. The Secretariat of SENSI is based in
Tuzla .
In this Assembly meeting SENSI wants to involve its members to develop activities and services and join project proposals with opportunity for funding the SENSI. That was the reason the SENSI Board involved consultant Akis Petropoulos to lead the Workshop about activities and funding opportunities.
Akis is a socioeconomic development consultant with professional background in engineering. He has more than 10 years experience on EU and other international donors funded activities related to project identification, formulation and implementation in a number of former and actual EU pre-accession countries and has significant recent consulting experience in the Balkans. He was approached by the SENSI Board to analyse previous SENSI meeting reports, potential funding sources, and give advice to the Assembly on funding opportunities.
