SENSI representative attended a one-day-training for preparation and application of projects under Framework programme FP 7. The training was organized and hosted by NERDA (Northeast Regional Development Association) in cooperation with Project Management Center from Banja Luka. FP 7 Programme is the main instrument for financing of scientific and research-based as well as scientific and development-based activities in Europe.
The workshop was held by Akis
Petropoulos, who is a socioeconomic development consultant with professional
background in engineering. He has more than 10 years experience on EU and other
international donors funded activities related to project identification,
formulation and implementation in a number of former and actual EU
pre-accession countries and has significant recent consulting experience in the
Balkans.

At the 4th SENSI meeting in Skopje-Ohrid, May 9-11, SENSI adopted a Statute, elected 7 Board members and selected Tuzla to be first host of the SENSI secretariate for the next 2 years. Although there are a lot of challenges ahead for this young network organisation, a proper basis has been created to start with activities towards members and their clients.
