BCI 2009
is the 4th Balkan Conference in Informatics, following BCI 2007
held in Sofia, BCI 2005 held in Ohrid, and BCI 2003 held in Thessaloniki.
The aim of the conference is to provide a forum for discussions
and dissemination of research achievements, to promote interaction
and collaboration among scientists from the South East Europe and
beyond, and to encourage involvement of young researchers from the
region.

CONFERENCE
INFORMATION
The
deadline for paper submissions was extended to 31st of March 2009. The
submitted papers should not exceed 6 pages, following the IEEE
Conference Style. Acceptance notification for the submitted papers
will be given on 4th of May 2009. Authors of accepted papers are
expected to submit a camera-ready paper due to 1st of June 2009.
The
research papers may be accepted as either full papers or short presentation
papers and posters. All accepted full papers will be included
in the IEEE BCI 2009 Proceedings, published by the IEEE Computer
Society's Conference Publishing Services. Moreover, these papers
will be included in IEEE Xplore(r) and indexed by IEE INSPEC, EI
(Compendex), Thomson ISI, and other indexing services. Short presentation
papers and posters will be printed in a separate volume with ISBN
code.
